A Typical Coaching Journey

Interested?

If you think you might be interested in working with me as your Coach, we start by having a free, no obligation initial ‘chemistry’ session where we explore whether we feel we would work well together.

Discover

After you have decided that you would like to work with me, our first session will be a structured session in which we agree things such as logistics, confidentiality, your goals for the coaching, and the outcomes that will help you to know when you reach those goals.

We also start to look at what’s really important to you, getting to the heart of your desire for change, and discover what is holding you back.

Explore

The programme of coaching that follows is tailored to suit your needs, but typically consists of 10-12 sessions over the course of about 6 months.

You determine the topic of discussion for each session, and together we use established coaching skills and principles to help you gain insight about what you can do to achieve the change you’re looking for, or process the change that is happening around you.

Act

A lot of the ‘work’ (and benefits) of coaching come in between the coaching sessions themselves. During coaching sessions, you will become deeply insightful as to who you really are and what drives your behaviours.

But in practice making change happen also requires the courage to take action. Part of the work that we do will address what holds you back so that you have all the tools and insights you possibly can to enable you to be Brave and take that action forth.

Complete

Reflection and informal evaluation take place during every session in order to ensure that you are getting as much as possible from the coaching.  We also have a more formal evaluation at the midpoint of your programme, and finally a structured review in the final session.
